Dibba's Victories Strengthen Relegation Hopes

Dibba FC team supervisor, Dr. Hamdan Al-Ghasi, confirmed that the team's victories in two consecutive matches have contributed to boosting the club's ambitions of avoiding relegation in the current season. He noted that the upward trend in performance and results represents a positive sign for the team.

Al-Ghasi explained that these positive results helped Dibba escape the bottom two spots in the ADNOC Pro League standings, raising their points tally to nine and placing them 12th. This came after a 1-0 victory over Khorfakkan in the 12th round, following a similar win over Bataih in the previous round.

In statements to "Al Ittihad", Al-Ghasi said the win over Khorfakkan boosted the players' morale, especially as it was achieved against a team with good technical potential. He added: "However, we are still in the danger zone, and we have a lot of work to do to strengthen our hopes of staying and moving to the safe zone. The fact that we achieved two consecutive wins has had a clear positive impact on the team's psychological state before the upcoming matches."

He confirmed that the recent rounds have shown the success of Romanian coach Marius Panaet in quickly leaving his technical mark, despite his recent appointment. Al-Ghasi explained that he worked in an ascending style without imposing physical pressure on players, adopting a playing style that suits their technical abilities, expressing his satisfaction with the coach's role and the clear imprint the team is beginning to show.

Al-Ghasi revealed that the winter transfer window will see some technical changes aimed at enhancing the team's overall performance, including signing a replacement for the Jordanian professional Mahmoud Al-Murday, who recently left the team. He noted that one of the main gains from signing Marius, besides the victories, is the boost in players' confidence, which has reflected in their on-field levels.

Concluding his statements, Al-Ghasi said: "We have important matches ahead, and it is essential to achieve positive results, especially against strong teams, as that plays a major role in improving the team's position in the table."
